We are pleased to announce that Nepal is open now for tourism. Nepal's government has decided to reopen its borders and on arrival-visa to fully vaccinated travelers with no quarantine after nearly 18 months. Earlier, travelers had to obtain specific approval from the Nepalese embassy and pay for seven days of quarantine upon arrival, Visitors no longer need to get clearance from the tourism board for their trip itineraries before applying for a visa. Many potential tourists have been turned off by the ever-changing COVID scenario around the world, as well as the severe requirements for foreigners entering Nepal. All travelers must have their vaccination certificate and the latest dosage of the vaccine taken at least 14 days before entering the country. International travelers who are completely vaccinated will still need to show a negative RT-PCR test report that is less than 72 hours old, according to Nepal's Tourism Ministry. Foreign travelers will be required to take a quick antigen test at Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport upon arrival. To prevent, control, diagnose, and treat Covid infection, the Nepalese government has issued the following order to handle the transit of Nepalese and foreigners arriving in Nepal from outside.
Despite the fact that the country is reopening and welcoming visitors, there are still limitations in place across the board. We, the members of the Info Trekking Nepal team, are completely vaccinated. And we're working harder than ever to make our visitors feel at ease.
