Q. Is needed permit for trekking? Which type of permit does need and how to get it?

Yes permits are for trekking. There is various type of permit like Conservation area permit, National park permit, Special trekking permit which is only for restricted area. According to your plan our company will provide all required permit. Don’t worry about the permit.

Q. What type of insurance should I have to come to Nepal?

If you got any emergency injured or high altitudes sickness so it covers any medical treatments, helicopter rescue in case of emergency. Our company staff will assist you in any emergency situation that arises during the trek.

Q. Can I get insurance there in Nepal?

Normally, if you are good on health physically then no need require any more for short trekking and hiking but if you are planning to more adventure you should do some hike in your country or you can do day hike in Nepal as well.

Q. What happens if there is an emergency?

Info Trekking Nepal’s all guides are government trained license holder and they have taken first aid training, so they knows your physical condition and they do suggest you about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) during the trekking. If any emergency occur in the mountain then we will cover initial expenses of rescue operation as these expenses will need to be recovered from your insurance company.

Q. What are your payment terms and conditions?

All our valued trekkers are requested to pay 30% in advance in order to guarantee their reservation. In some trekking routes like Everest region early booking of flight is necessary for hassle free trekking. Therefore, guaranteed reservation helps us to create very good package.

Rest of the 70% payment should be cleared upon landing in Nepal before the trip starts.

Q. Can we bring some energy bars from home country?

Yes, if you want you can bring some energy mars bar, chocolate, or high energy dry food from your country, but normally you can buy all kinds of foods in Kathmandu and you can pack for your adventurous travel.

Q. Is there any communication when we are on the mountain?

Yes, normally in popular trekking routes, Nepal Telecom has been providing mobile network. Somewhere if mobile network is not working because of weather you can make international phone call from landline phone, which is available in the hotel or near Public Call Office (PCO) center
