Trip Overview

Pikey Peak Trek is a short trek and the best viewpoint. One of the most famous hidden treks to witness the Himalayan region's infinite beauty. It is a newly launched trekking route that offers trekkers an off-the-beaten-path trekking experience.  It’s in the Lower Everest (Khumbu) Region which is a fun alternative to the famous and crowded Everest trail.

During this path, you can see many different views and sites on the way. And visit the ancient Thupten Choling Buddhist monastery where you can experience the unique culture of Sherpa. Due to the fact that trekkers hardly visit that area, you can discover authentic Nepal and meet friendly people while trekking to Pikey Peak.

HIGHLIGHTS OF PIKEY PEAK TREK

  • Newly opened a less explored and crowded trek.
  • Everest region's short and exclusive destination.
  • Beautiful sunrise, views of the Himalayan mountains, and Sherpa culture and traditions.
  • Thamserku, Mt. Khangtega, Numbur Himal, Mera Peak, Mt. Gaurishanker, Dorje Lakpa, and Mt. Everest are among the Himalayan peaks visible.
  •  A visit to Thuptenchholing Gompa, a centuries-old monastery that is highly respected.
  • It passes through a variety of Nepalese villages typical of the hills and mountains.

VIEWS FROM PIKEY PEAK

Pikey Peak Trek is highly enjoyed for its breathtaking view of the sunrise and the sunset. The Pikey Danda viewpoint is at the lowest elevation and offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest, the world's highest peak. Also, you can enjoy the views of Gaurishankar, Mt. Makalu, and many other high mountains. Sir Edmund Hillary subsequently stated that Pikey Peak offers Mount Everest the most beautiful view.

The Pikey Peak Trek takes you through the holiday track to the most beautiful remote areas of the Himalayas. It enables you to access cloisters and experience a proportion that is eminent in Nepal's hospitality and society through terraced slopes and Sherpa towns. The best time to go on this trek is in the spring and autumn when the weather is ideal for seeing the mountains and taking in the scenery.

PIKEY PEAK SHORT TREK

One of the most famous Everest Region short trekking destinations Pikey Peak is a fantastic spot to visit. If your fitness is good and you have a short period of time; you can do this trek within 4 to 5 days. However, we recommend that you make a more relaxed six-day walk for stress-free exercise and visit several Buddhist sites. This trek is not only about walking and enjoying the wonderful Himalayas, seeing spectacular scenery but also about understanding nature and learning about the Sherpa culture.
The Pikey Peak Short Trek path goes through the less busy areas of Khumbu, rhododendron forests, and small villages. A mystic feel attracts a large number of tourists, thanks to the quiet scenery and the Himalayan panorama. This trek also can be extended as per your requirement too. Prepare your luggage and necessary equipment for your wonderful adventure to Nepal. As a result, on this short trekking journey, you'll get a panoramic view of the world's tallest mountain and other peaks.

PIKEY PEAK TREK DIFFICULTY

Well, Pikey Peak Trek is a moderate-level trek. The trek is not that difficult as it goes through the lower Everest Region. This route does not appear to be difficult, but we will need to make a few small steep descents and ascents. Everything you have to do is a trek for nearly 5 to 7 hours a day on average. As a result, we suggest that you engage in some routine physical activities to aid in your trek. Simply doing some simple daily exercises such as jogging, swimming, gym, yoga, cycling will help you build stamina.

In addition, there are other many amazing packages such as Everest Panorama View Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Gokyo Valley Trek, and the demanding Everest Three High Passes Trek. You can choose between them as well.
